HANCOCK — Nominating petitions for persons desiring to qualify as candidates for the Office of Council, (1) one Councilor from each of the (3) three wards for a (4) four year term and (1) At Large Councilor for a (2) two year term on a non-partisan ballot are available at the City Clerk’s Office between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The deadline to submit petitions to the City Clerk is 4 p.m. local time, Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020.

Names of candidates who qualify for office will appear on the Nov. 3 ballot.
