Thanks Betsy Crawford

To the editor:

I am writing in regards to the wonderfully executed hosting of the Kraft Hockeyville game that took place recently in Calumet.  Everyone involved did an excellent job in all facets on this event.

I watched it from the high school football field and learned during one of the interviews between periods that it was Betsy Crawford’s letter that made the whole week possible.

Even the broadcaster said “If you didn’t write that letter, none of this would have happened!”

This is huge and I was glad to see Betsy recognized for her efforts. Had I won tickets to the arena I probably would not have known this unless if they did something special during the game at the Colosseum, too, which would definitely be fitting for the benefits her letter brought to the facility specifically, and the area, in general.

Thank you, Betsy, for entering the Calumet Colosseum into the Kraft Hockeyville contest.  It  delivered a lot of joy to the area for all ages!
