TV6’s loss
To the editor:
The news of meteorologist Karl Bohnak’s departure from the WLUC TV6 news team is disturbing, both because it happened at all, and because of the disagreement between Bohnak and the station’s management that brought it about.
While I do not side with Bohnak in his dispute with management over the mandatory-vaccination policy for WLUC employees — which he opposes partly on grounds of individual freedom — and am in fact disappointed in his stance on the issue, I am nonetheless saddened by his ouster.
The evening news programs on Channel 6 will not be quite the same again.
