HOUGHTON — The Houghton Gremlins closed the regular season with a West-PAC sweep over the West Iron County Wykons (27-25, 25-16, 25-20) Tuesday in Houghton.

For the Gremlins, Kendra Monette tallied 11 kills and 14 digs; Jada Markham had six kills and two aces; Kiley Farrey added five kills and six digs; Daityn Markham recorded four kills and two block kills.

Setter Mackenzie Klein had 29 assists and three aces, while Madi Dillinger (26 digs) and Frankie Stukel (10 digs) led the defense.

Houghton finishes the regular season 30-12-4 with a 6-2 record in the West-PAC. The Gremlins will now await the winner of the district play-in matchup between L’Anse and Calumet. The winner will host Houghton on Nov. 1.
