CHEBOYGAN — After getting out to a two-goal lead, the Jeffers Jets fell to Cheboygan 6-3 on the road in a non-league contest. 

Jackson Rocchi and Clay Larson scored in the first period for Jeffers (4-2), but Cheboygan (3-3) rallied in the second and third periods to come away with the win.

Rocchi also scored in the third period.

Jeffers used two goaltenders in the game, with Noah Nettell starting and recording 19 saves, and Evan Pietila playing the third period for his first varsity action. 

Next up the Jets travel to Gaylord for a tournament where they will play Gaylord on Friday at 8:00 p.m. and Big Rapids on Saturday, time TBA.
