BESSEMER — Looking for a road win, that is exactly what the Baraga Vikings girls basketball team was able to do Friday night as they cruised to a 68-12 win over the Bessemer Speedgirls.

C. Jahfetson and Rylie Koskinen led the way for the Vikings from the opening tip. Jahfetson scored a game-high 19 points, had three rebounds, three assists and two steals. Koskinen was just as impressive, scoring 18 points, six rebounds, three assists and steals.

Jahfetson had 11 of her 19 in the first half as she drained two 3-pointers and added two more baskets. Koskinen added 13 of her 18 in the half as well.

Allison Durant, who 14 points, eight rebounds, four assists and five steals scored 11 of her points in the final three quarters of the contest for the Vikings.
