PORTAGE TOWNSHIP — A 24 year old man died as the result of a single vehicle rollover accident Sunday night in Portage Township. According to a press release from the Houghton County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called out shortly after 9 p.m. Sunday to an accident on Paradise Road, near Pilgrim Road in Portage Township. Deputies say the driver of the vehicle, a 24 year old man, was pronounced dead at the scene while a passenger in the vehicle, a 24 year old man was uninjured.
