CEDARVILLE, Ohio — The Michigan Tech Huskies soccer team fell 3-0 at Cedarville Saturday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets scored a goal in the first half and a pair in the final 45 minutes. Kacy Rosenthal opened the scoring with a free kick from 20 yards out 14:40 into the contest. Seren Johnson added to the lead early in the second half at 51:38. EAST LANSING, Mich. — Alessio Milivojevic converted a fourth down with a 5-yard, go-ahead touchdown pass to Rodney Bullard early in the fourth quarter and Michigan State went on to beat Toledo 30-20 on Friday night in Pat Fitzgerald's debut as coach of the Spartans. Michigan State sealed the victory with an 11-play drive capped by Liam Boyd's 51-yard field goal late in the game. ISHPEMING — Looking to move to 2-0 Friday night, the Calumet Copper Kings football team scored 14 straight points to open the game. Still leading 14-0 heading into the fourth quarter on the road against the Westwood Patriots, the Copper Kings outscored the hosts 13-8 in the final quarter to come away with a 27-8 victory.
