Holman School fourth-graders Adayla Rautiola and Gemma Coponen, teacher Christine Marttila and Houghton resident Elaine Wirtanen plant annuals along the Houghton waterfront Tuesday. The planting was the resumption of an annual tradition for Marttila's classes, who meet each year to plant flowers with Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly. The Houghton Beautification Committee provided assistance with more than 120 plants.
