Hancock Library seeking volunteer help

The Hancock School Public Library is currently seeking volunteers to help with various projects throughout the library. Volunteers are needed to help with everyday tasks such as shelving and straightening, as well as planning and preparing for library programs and storytime events. After many successful additions to library collections and programs over the last year, the library is looking to extend their success with the help of residents interested in giving back to their community.

Volunteering with the Hancock School Public Library is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a small team that is revitalizing library services for students and public patrons of the school district. The library’s schedule of recurring events currently features storytime programs, a code club for students, and a book club.

If you are interested in volunteering at the library, please stop by the library for an application or to discuss volunteer opportunities with Boni Ashburn, the Library Manager.
