LAURIUM — On March 22 at approximately 7:09 p.m., Laurium police were dispatched to a report of a missing person from Laurium. After several hours of searching, the person was located in Florida location at 12:13 a.m. by Calumet Township Fire and Rescue personnel. The person was transported to Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital bu Mercy EMS for treatment.

Laurium police were assisted by Michigan State Police Calumet Post, Houghton County Sheriffs Department, Keweenaw County Sheriff Department, Calumet Township Fire and Rescue. The Laurium Police Department would like to thank all who assisted in the search.
