Finland-U.S. relations exhibit on display at Finnish American Heritage Center

HANCOCK – This year, Finland and the United States celebrate a century of diplomatic relations, and the Embassy of Finland in Washington, D.C. has commemorated that anniversary with an exhibit marking significant moments in this relationship.

That exhibit, titled “Finland and the U.S. – 100 Years of Diplomatic Relations,” displays striking photos from virtually every aspect of Finnish-American relations throughout the past century, ranging from politics to sports, arts and entertainment to technology and development. Spread over three large panels, the exhibit is displayed in Finlandia University’s Finnish American Heritage Center, and will be available for public viewing throughout the month of October.

For further information about this exhibit, or any of the other cultural programs offered at the Finnish American Heritage Center, call (906) 487-7549.
