The Keweenaw Lions Club held their 2nd annual Fall Color Cruise on the Portage Canal aboard the Isle Royale Queen IV, on Tuesday evening, October 8. 92 passengers enjoyed warm weather, surrounded by gorgeous fall foliage as they cruised calm waters through the North Entry, turning around in Lake Superior. This event was made possible by the generosity of the Kilpela family and the use of their Isle Royale Queen IV and professional crew. Additional contributions of food were made by Pasty Central, Pat’s IGA in Calumet and many Lions Club bakers. This fundraiser allows the Lions Club to support the underprivileged and many worthwhile community causes in the local area.
