The Sons of the American Legion Squadron 90 of the Lake Linden American Legion Post 90 held their sixth annual benefit to raise money for the UP Honor Flight.

The benefits are held in the spring of each year at Post 90 (Lakes Lounge). To date, they have raised over $43,000 for the UP Honor Flight. These benefits are a group effort of the Post 90 members, Post 90 Auxiliary members, local volunteers and are coordinated by the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 90.

Funds are raised locally through a spaghetti/chicken dinner, silent auctions, raffles, local businesses and individual donors.

A special thank you to: Koppers, Econo Foods, Isle Royale Sea Planes, The Daily Mining Gazette, TRG, Swift Hardware, Vollwerth’s and to all of you who donated and volunteered to help honor our Veterans.
