Support the CCCAC through a local art raffle

HANCOCK – Artists near and far have created original 6×6 inch works of art as a fundraiser for the Copper Country Community Arts Center in Hancock. The CCCAC gave out 6×6 inch canvases and asked artists to create a small work. There are over forty 6×6 inch works on display starting Dec. 12 in the CCCAC Kerredge Gallery. Individuals may purchase a $40 ticket to receive one of these works of art, chosen at random, through a drawing on Dec. 14. Everyone that buys a ticket gets a work of art, but the surprise is you won’t know which one until Dec. 14.

The 6×6 reception will be on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 1-3 p.m., with the drawing starting at 1:30 p.m. If there is a work you would like to purchase outright, then giving a $100 donation before the drawing begins gets you the one you choose. Ticket purchasers do not need to be present during the drawing.

The CCCAC would like to thank all the participating artists; Lynn Anderson, John Arnold, Nancy Auer, Janice Brogan, Gini Brewer, Cynthia Coté, Brooke Cummings, Bob Dawson, Tammy Gajewski, Pamela Hecht, Clay Hilman, Susan Hooker, Melissa Hronkin, Joyce Koskenmaki, Gray Kotila, Emma Mackey, Madhura Mehendale, Clyde Mikkola, Eddie Oneal, Miriam Pickens, Mike Ramos, Bridget Riversmith, Hannah Smith, Fredi Taddeucci, William R. Thompson, Karen Tembreull, Christa Walck, and Edith Wiard.

The Copper Country Community Arts Center is located at 126 Quincy Street in Hancock. For more information or to purchase a $40 ticket for a 6×6 work of art, call 906-482-2333 or email ccarts@coppercountryarts.com.
