Exposure to COVID-19 case puts Hancock volleyball on pause for week

HANCOCK — The Hancock High School volleyball program is in limbo until early next week after multiple players were exposed to a person who later tested positive for COVID-19, athletic director Chris Salani said.

The exposure caused Hancock to cancel Tuesday’s home match against West Iron County. The team is going to be watched until Monday, Salani said. Hancock’s game Thursday at Iron Mountain is canceled.

Salani said Friday’s football game against Gogebic is still on.
