Lions drop heartbreaker to Lumberjills
ASHLAND, Wis. — It was a hard-fought game as the Finlandia University women’s hockey team (0-9) lost 3-0 to Northland (1-6-1), Monday night at the Bay Area Civic Center. Finlandia almost scored first as sophomore Michaela Powers had a shot saved at the last moment with 3:04 gone. Sophomore Laney Pasemko kept the Lions in the game with several great saves.
