Destrampe, Middleton earn LL-H Senior Awards
Brendan Middleton and Alexa Destrampe were named as the recipients of the Outstanding Male and Female Athlete Awards respectively at a recent ceremony held at Lake Linden-Hubbell High School.
Brendan is the son of Shane and Jean Middleton. During his high school career he was a member of the football, hockey, and track teams. Brendan earned 11 varsity letters while receiving All-Conference and All-UP honors in football twice as well as being named the Small School Back of the Year his senior year.
Brendan was All-Conference in hockey three years and was twice named MVP of the Lake Superior Hockey Conference. Track awards include Copper Country Conference Sprinter of the Year.
Brendan will attend Michigan Tech next year to play football and major in Sports Management.
Alexa is the daughter of Scott and Kara Destrampe. During her high school career she was a member of the basketball, volleyball, track and softball teams.
Alexa earned 15 varsity letters while gaining All-Conference honors in volleyball and being named MVP in the Copper Mountain Conference. She was All-Conference twice in basketball.
Alexa plans on attending Michigan Tech to study Exercise Science.
