CRYSTAL FALLS — A 78-year-old man has been accused of murder after a woman was found dead July 20 Sunday in Crystal Falls Township. George Walter Kamber was arraigned Thursday in Iron County Trial Court on one count of homicide open murder, a news release from the Iron County Sheriff’s Office states. Open murder means the degree of murder is not being specified at the outset, according to online information. He was given a bond of $150,000 cash/surety with conditions.
