SANDS TOWNSHIP — Thanksgiving night saw a house fire in Marquette County's Sands Township, with the house being claimed a total loss. Three people were injured in the blaze. At 11:15 p.m., Marquette County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a residential fire in Sands Township with occupants possibly trapped inside the house. Upon arrival, deputies confirmed that all occupants were outside the residence and all three were taken by ambulance to UP Health System-Marquette for injuries sustained in the fire.
